An unusual aspect of Fantasy Island amenities is the extent of the water sports operation. Other than diving, the resort features ocean kayaks, canoes, sailing boats and power boats, including a fleet of waverunners, jet skis and wet bikes. Fishing and sailing trips are optional.

Topside activities at Fantasy Island include motorbike and car rentals right at the resort, group sunset sailing excursions and island tours. There is a menu of packages available and the U.S. booking office can provide a variety of exciting mainland tours and attractions as add-ons.

The increasing ecotouristic infrastructure of Honduras now provides excursions to the ancient Maya City of Copan, a jungle river rafting adventure or a jungle walk through a lovely tropical garden.
