When you arrive to the Airport you will be quickly transferred via the resort's modern, air-conditioned bus to Fantasy Island, about an eight mile drive. On the way you will pass through French Harbour, one of the three largest villages on Roatan.
At the resort you will arrive at the two wings, of beachfront rooms radiating in an L-pattern off the reception area, social area and offices on the first floor and the restaurant/lounge in the second story. This building connects to an electronic games and recreation room and the 120 person capacity Dolphin convention/meeting room. Behind is the pool, the thatch roof beach pavilion and bandstand and the extensive beach.
There are two additional guesthouses, a hillside wing behind the dive complex and a wing next door to the dive shop, termed the divers' wing. Many diving guests will request either the hillside or divers wing from logistical convenience. There are deluxe and standard rooms but the rooms are all similar. The divers wing does not suggest a great difference from the beautiful general room design at the resort. All are tropically furnished and include a private patio, a satellite TV, direct dial phone, refrigerator and air-conditioning. The guestrooms and all main indoor buildings are fully air-conditioned, again placing Fantasy Island in a class by itself on Roatan. There is also a variety of bed configurations to accommodate individual preferences.
A white sandy beach, nearly one-quarter mile long with the shape of a halfmoon.
