The Escuela de idiomas Truxillo (Truxillo School of Languages) is located in the city of Trujillo, near the Capiro-Calentura National Park, a natural preserve in a virtually virgin state. Also nearby is the wildlife refuge of Laguna de Guymoreto, the abode of myriads of animal species indigenous to the place, such as the manatees, the white-faced monkeys, herons, seagulls, kingfishers, crocodiles, etc.

Combining with the natural beauty of this place is the bay of Trujillo, today one of the most beautiful in the world. Trujillo offers a cultural history without equal in its fortresses, museums, parks, and buildings with Spanish, French, and English trends.

The population of Trujillo is made up of approximately 50,000 inhabitants, with a majority identified with the Garifuna ethnic group,

Rich in the customs, rhythms and rites of their culture, harmoniously coexisting with the mestizos and a small number of foreigners.

Trujillo has hotels, restaurants, banks, telephone service, internet, fax, mail service, interurban bus transportation covering routes to La Ceiba, San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa, and daily air communication with any town in the country.

 

 

   °   Physical space of the school

We have 10 pedagogically conditioned and will ventilated classrooms, all overlooking the bay and with views across to the mountains beyond, a central office, a lecture hall, and a drawing room. The building is built of concrete. There is no interference by reason of traffic or other noises, as it is far away from streets and homes. Cafeteria service is available.

   °   School Staff

The personnel engaged by the Escuela de Idiomas Truxillo is duly qualified, with up to 10 and 15 years of teaching experience in the elementary schools of the country and 4 to 5 years in language schools teaching Spanish as a second language.

Respect, sense of responsibility and attention are mandatory characteristics of the staff of this institution. Some teachers are bilingual.

Two teachers whose training and experience have earned them recognition and respect in this community and throughout the country supervise the institution. They are Félix Antonio Cardona And Manuel Antonio Espinal.

These teachers are constantly receiving refresher courses to improve and update their academic training.
